I MOVED TO THE U.S.A. IN 1997 WITH HOPES OF ATTENDING BERKLEY SCHOOL OF MUSIC. AFTER REALIZING HOW EXPENSIVE IT IS, I ENDED UP STAYING IN DETROIT. HITTING ALL THE BLUES JAMS I COULD INTRODUCED ME TO MANY DETROIT BLUES VETERANS. I WAS HONORED TO SHARE THE STAGE WITH MANY OF THEM. SO THIS EXPERIENCE AND PRIOR WORK IN BOSNIA (THAT INCLUDES MANY HUMANITARIAN CONCERTS AND ACTIONS WITH "WAR CHILD" ORG.)HELPED SHAPE ME INTO WHAT I AM TODAY. I HAVE BEEN GRACED WITH THESE PEOPLE`S ADVICES AND INSIGHTS TO THE BLUES AND BEYOND. I THINK THIS WAS MY DESTINY AND IT GAVE ME MUCH MORE THAN A CLASSROOM COULD.
I HAVE NO WORDS TO EXPRESS MY GRATITUDE TO ALL THESE PEOPLE.
I HAVE HAD MANY PROJECTS IN SEVERAL YEARS BUT BEING A PART OF WELL TUNED ROCKIN` MACHINE CALLED "BROKEN ARROW BLUES BAND" MAKES ME FEEL AT HOME. BEING SURROUNDED WITH SUCH TALENT, AND FRIENDS ABOVE ALL, IS A DREAM COME TRUE.
LET`S ROCK ' EM GUYS!!!!!

G.Shadowhawk Ellis / Percussion /Back Vocals / & other comments
Hailing from Louisville, Kentucky, and a member of The Great Cherokee Nation, Shadowhawk's Mother once said that he was playing drums in the whom before he was born!!! Traditionally trained throughout school, and beyond by some of the great Jazz & Funk drummers such as; Buddy Rich, Gene Kruppa, Gerry McKenzie, J.C. Heard, & Pistol Allen, the Beat was instilled into Mr. Ellis early on. He played his first professional gig at the age of 13, in Windsor, Ontario, Canada with a Dixieland Band, and it was game on!!! The Stage and lights called to him and since he has been the driving force in a miriad of successful Bands in all genres, but The Blues is his forte'. First recorded & published at the age of 14, Mr. Ellis has 7 releases to his credit with 4 different Bands, 2 of which are of his own making, including The Blind Dog Blues Band, with Guitar great Charles "Pat" Pattonand , & Broken Arrow Blues Band. From Speed Metal to Jazz, and from Classic Rock to in your face Blues, He "plays" the drums! With 36+ years of stage and recording experience under his belt, Mr. Ellis is a true Veteran of the Music Industry.... Dues Paid!!
"I'd trade all I have, all the thousands of hours of practice, the sacrifices we make as musicians, the long hours recording, rehearsing, polishing my trade, for the 2 or 3 minutes people stand on their feet and truly enjoy and get off on what we do as artists"
